CONWAY — A New Hampshire woman had to be extricated from her Toyota SUV by rescue personnel after a woman from Massachusetts driving a Lexus SUV ran the stop sign at Seavey Street traveling east, continued across the North-South Road and struck the side of the Toyota on Thursday morning at about 9:30 a.m. The Toyota was pushed into the railroad crossing arm by the collision.
Police Chief Chris Mattei said the driver of the Lexus, Sandra Telless, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield at a right of way. A witness who spoke to the driver said the woman said she never saw the stop sign and was following her GPS at the time of the crash.
