CONWAY — Workers from Hudson, Maine-based company B&S Scrap Recycling could be seen dismantling Locomotive No. 1757 on Tuesday morning at the Conway Scenic Railroad's Kearsarge State Yard along North-South Road.

According to Conway Scenic Railroad Marketing and Events Manager Brian Solomon, this model was built by General Motors at its LaGrange, Ill., plant in November 1956.
