CONWAY — A Nor’easter came to the region on Saturday, bringing snow and causing accidents, power outages and frustration to Red Sox fans who were unable to watch games 4 and 5 of the World Series in their homes without electricity.

Gail Rice, Central Maine Power, spokesperson said: “We had a number of outages over the weekend due to the high winds from the season’s first Nor’easter. The severity of impact differed depending on location, but Oxford County was definitely the hardest-hit area, and that included impacts in Fryeburg and other Oxford County towns Saturday and Sunday.”
