BARTLETT — On Feb. 11, the 100th anniversary of the first-in-the-nation New Hampshire Primary, Bartlett Town Clerk Cheryl Nealley became the first resident to cast a ballot using the town’s new electronic voting machine.

Town Moderator Norman Head bestowed the honor upon her after she successfully convinced selectmen Gene Chandler, Vicki Garland and David A. Patch to place an article for a $3,500 voting machine on the 2019 town warrant. Voters approved the article by voice vote last March.
