CONWAY — A Conway legislator and one from Tuftonboro are on a state committee tasked with reviewing a bill to repeal a decades old law that allows elementary school teachers to lead their students in the Lord's Prayer.

The present law (RSA 194:15-a) dates back to 1975. Now, Rep. Amanda Bouldin (D-Manchester) wants it gone. She told WMUR-Channel 9 that the law is unconstitutional and "sort of like a hidden virus" on the books.
