CONWAY — By most accounts the first cellphone-free day at Kennett High went well on Nov. 15, but one school board member believes the students should be allowed access to their phones in a limited capacity.

“It went well,” Kennett Principal Kevin Carpenter, told the Conway School Board at their Nov. 25 meeting. “There was some apprehension, but the students handled it great.”
