CONWAY — A speeding black SUV was apparently to blame for a serious crash on Route 112, the Kanamagus Highway, that occurred involving two other vehicles Wednesday evening, according to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was reported just before 5 p.m. According to the sheriff’s office, a rental Mazda CX-5 traveling eastbound was behind the black SUV, which was speeding and drifting in and out of the westbound lane. Meanwhile, a driver in a 2014 GMC Terrain heading west was forced out of his lane.
