chet and bun

CONWAY — For those of us who have followed town politics for years, hearing the news of Chet Lucy's passing this week was like waking up to find that Mount Washington had vanished overnight.

Chester B. “Chet” Lucy, 91, was Conway’s equivalent of the Old Man of the Mountain. And just as when the Old Man fell back in 2003, when the community learned of Chet's passing, it was as if a member of the extended Mount Washington Valley family had died.

Conway Girl At Heart

What a great opening, and such a respectful story about Mr Lucy. Nice work, Tom.
