CONWAY — After a day of voting in which close to record numbers came out for a town election, Conway selectmen John Colbath and Steve Porter were easily re-elected, and the town budget also passed by a wide margin.

A total of 1,835 people took ballots in Tuesday’s elections. With about 6,837 registered voters, that put the turnout at about 27 percent, according to Town Clerk Louise Inkell. She provided a chart of voter turnout going back to 2015. Tuesday’s turnout was the highest turnout in that time frame.
