FRYEBURG, Maine — The race is on to decide the fate of the C.A. Snow School in Fryeburg after a request for proposal was released last week to the public.

However, one snag is that at least one member of an ad-hoc committee to review the proposals is in doubt after it came out that he had lobbied voters at the polls during the recent election to turn the school into a cultural center.
