CONWAY — Members of the Conway Municipal Budget Committee, known for being thrifty, want to be more economical with their time next budget season.
At their first committee reorganization meeting since the April 9 election, budgeteers on Wednesday unanimously supported asking town officials to get the proposed budget to them sooner so they can start reviewing it in December, rather than January. Last budget season, the committee met seven times that month.
