PORTSMOUTH — The man who was shot to death by police had killed his wife and son before he was confronted by police last Thursday morning on the Piscataqua River Bridge on the state line between Maine and New Hampshire, authorities said Friday.
The incident had started at about 3 a.m. on Aug. 29, when police responded to an apartment at 359 Monadnock St. in Troy in response to a call from Trent Weston, 37, reporting that he shot his wife, Brittany Weston.
