Freedom hosted 48 players at the third annual Mah Jongg Tournament at Camp Calumet. Coming from all over Mount Washington Valley, players enjoyed a full day of playing this very popular game of skill and luck.

Camp Calumet provided the wonderful venue and a tasty lunch. Top scorers were Barbara Dionne, Liz Gabel and Judith Necker Paul. Many items in a Chinese Auction were won by lucky participants. Want to learn how to play? There are regular games at the Freedom and Madison Public Libraries, Moultonborough Recreation Center, as well as in Wolfeboro and Laconia.
