JACKSON — The Friends of the Whitney Community Center will host a two-session “Basics of Budgeting” course on Wednesday, Jan. 25, and Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Whitney Community Center at 16 Black Mountain Road in Jackson.

Whether you are starting out on your own, or getting ready to retire, a budget is an essential tool. This two-session workshop will get you started on tracking your expenses, setting realistic financial goals and making the most out of your income and assets.
