William L. Charles, 60, of Loudon, N.H., passed away peacefully, Oct. 10, 2017, with his family by his side at Concord Hospice House in Concord, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in North Conway, N.H., the son of Lester and Alice (Aubin) Charles, he grew up in Bartlett, N.H., had lived in the Lakes Region working as a mason and had lived in Loudon for the past 23 years, finishing his career working at Northern Design Precast.
