Robert 'Bob' Bramble

 

4-4-17-robert-c.-brambleLongtime Jackson resident Robert "Bob" Bramble passed away peacefully on March 31, 2017, surrounded by his children, ending his battle with Alzheimer's.

Bob was born Jan. 24, 1942, in Melrose, Mass., the son of the late Clifford and Harriet (Cook) Bramble. He attended Melrose Public Schools, graduated from Mount Hermon in 1959 and Tufts University in 1963, when he was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Marine Corps. After being trained as a forward observer, he was assigned to the 3rd Marine Division in the Far East where he served in Vietnam. Prior to his separation from the Marine Corps he was selected for captain.
