Philip G. Chesley, a longtime resident of Jackson, N.H., who had also lived for many years in Boxford, Mass., and Malden, Mass., passed away on Aug. 1, 2017, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Phil was born in Malden in 1941, the son of Elmer and Barbara(Gates) Chesley. He graduated from Kimball Union Academy with the Class of 1959. He then attended Tufts University and graduated with the Class of 1963, and later attended Suffolk University Law School, graduating with the Class of 1972.
