Mary Jane Hopkins, 70, passed away on Mother’s Day, on May 12, 2024, at Maine Medical Center with her two children by her side. After her diagnosis of lung cancer in November 2023, Mary Jane fought relentlessly for six hard months against the disease.

She will be remembered for her incredible resilience, consideration for others and joyful demeanor during this challenging time. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
