James Patrick Monahan, 67, of Bartlett, N.H., died unexpectedly of a heart attack at home Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017. Jim was the beloved husband of Brenda Monahan. They were to have celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary on Nov. 28.

Born in The Bronx, N.Y., on June 23, 1950, and later a resident of Elmsford, N.Y., Jim was the son of the late James Michael Monahan and Eleshia Gallagher Monahan. He is survived by his sister Eleshia and brother Kenneth Monahan, plus numerous cousins in the U.S. and Ireland.
