CONWAY — The novel coronavirus made headlines in New Hampshire over the past few days after the state Department of Health and Human Services issued a statement about the virus in which it noted two people in the state are being monitored and tested for the disease.

While state health officials are emphasizing those cases are not confirmed, health-care workers at Memorial Hospital in North Conway say they have received phone calls from local people concerned about virus.
