The car shows are winding down as late summer leads to fall, and collectors' and hobbyists' thoughts turn to storing their pride and joy until next season.

Sure, there are still spectacular days to enjoy a ride with foliage season approaching, warm days and cool nights, the sun’s apex lower on the horizon. These are the days that are made for dropping the convertible top or opening the sunroof, and there’s no shame in turning on the heat or leaving the windows up with the top down. It’s all about enjoying the last of the season and the fresh, cool air before the deep freeze settles in.
