CONCORD — Terry O’Brien, owner and general manager of the Red Parka Steakhouse and Pub of Glen, received a lifetime achievement award at the annual “Stars of the Industry” meeting of the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord on Nov. 18.

Daughter of late Red Parka Pub co-founders Jean Melczarek and Dewey Mark, and married to George O’Brien, O'Brien is past president of the New Hampshire Lodging and Restaurant Association, a past member of the Mount Washington Valley Chamber of Commerce's board of directors and past events committee chair, a member of the Valley Originals board of directors, and a longtime business member of the Mount Washington Valley Economic Council.
