CONWAY — The nominations are in for the annual Readers' Choice Awards, and there are many — about 1,800.

Produced by The Conway Daily Sun, the contest recognizes the businesses and people who have become part of everyday life here in the Mount Washington Valley — from the coffee shop that fuels us in the morning and the mechanics who keep our cars running to our favorite places to play, shop and dine. The contest is presented by Black Mountain Ski Area in Jackson. The gold sponsor is Meredith Village Savings Bank North Conway.
