LACONIA — U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan got a firsthand look of examples of economic activity in Laconia in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic during a tour of the city, accompanied by Mayor Andrew Hosmer last Thursday.
The state’s junior senator spent more than an hour viewing the Colonial Theatre restoration, as well as visiting two Main Street businesses. It was Hassan’s first downtown walkabout in the state since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic 11 months ago.
