Colby Galvin

No one put in more time in the off-season than junior Lake Region indoor track & field athlete Colby Galvin.

“He was often seen on the track in the fall working on his main craft, sprinting. The work has paid off by making state qualifying standards in three events and running the third leg on our school-record 4x200 meter relay team,” Laker Coach Mark Snow said. “The improvements in his events are outstanding (0.53 seconds in the 55 meters, 2.05 seconds in the 200 meters, and over 2.5 feet in the long jump). These are by far the biggest improvements on the team, and his 13 PRs (personal records) lead the team as well.”
