Coleen Ann Stuart (née Coleen A. Cooke), born July 30, 1955, in Long Island, N.Y., passed away after a life defined by warmth, resilience, and deep devotion to family and friends.

Raised in Queens and later New Jersey, Coleen was the third of five children born to Bill and Ronnie Cooke. She attended Assumption School in Morristown, N.J., and graduated from Bayley Ellard Regional High School in 1973. She earned a BA in English from Merrimack College in 1977.
