ART OF FLORAL ARRANGEMENT — Under the guidance of instructor Melinda Thomas, MFA, Sarah Montgomery (above, right) creates a spring floral arrangement during “The Gentle Art of Ikebana” class on Saturday at Gallery 302 in Bridgton. Drawing on her training with the Sogetsu School and membership in Ikebana International, Thomas introduced students to this expressive Japanese art form. She will return to teach another Ikebana class on July 25 using summer blooms. To sign up for the July class, go to gallery302. (Photo by Maggie Daigle)
