Ella Gibbons hit the ball hard three times in Monday’s key showdown against Poland, but it was a tweener fly ball that got the job done.

Down 2-1 in the 10th inning, Lake Region was able to move Vylet Robbins, who started the frame at second base, to third as Everly Robbins successfully dropped a sacrifice bunt along the first base line. A strike out put the Knights a step closer to a season sweep and a chance to possibly host the Lakers in the first round of the Class B South playoffs.
