Markets alone do not reliably provide healthcare, education, infrastructure, or economic stability for everyone. Supporters of more social-democratic systems believe shared public investment can strengthen long-term citizen productivity, reduce extreme inequality, and create a more stable society where talent is not wasted simply because someone was born without resources. It's a proven fact that markets work best when paired with institutions that protect opportunity, competition, and basic human security. If you collect social security money - you know that.
