Richard, “Dick” Litz, 93, died peacefully with his wife, Madelyn and family by his side. He was born in Alameda, California, in 1932, to Alice and Jack Litz.

He grew up in Oakland, California, where he attended high school and went to work immediately after with his grandfather at Pacific Telephone. After being drafted during the Korean War, stationed at Killeen Base in Texas, he returned to California and worked 33 years for Pacific Telephone. He retired in 1983 and moved to Lake Tahoe, California, where he met his wife Madelyn and her two sons. They became a family and made a life there where they enjoyed the beauty of Lake Tahoe and all it had to offer. Boating and skiing were a lifestyle they all enjoyed.
