Carolyn Paradise Wentworth passed away April 19, 2026, at the age of 95 in Venice, Fla. She was born May 10, 1930, in Auburn, Mass., to Albert (Jack) and Ruth Paradise.
She spent her early years in Wellesley, Mass. She moved to Naples, Maine, in her teens and attended Bridgton Academy. After getting married she moved to Harrison. She worked many years at the Bridgton Shoe Shop so her children could go to college. She went on from there to Bethel Savings Bank and later got her Real Estate license. She went back to night school and got her diploma in 1970. She and Edward moved to Florida in 1980 where she worked in the Lee County School District as a teacher’s assistant. She was also active in the 2nd Saturday Food Bank in the Grace Church in Fort Myers Shores, Fla.
