To The Editor:

Jock MacGregor’s letter to the editor (‘Social Democrats,’ April 6) was so sharply biased that I felt like taking it to the gym and reading it on an incline board. His arguments are generally unfettered by historical accuracy. It would be mind-numbing to oppose his claims piece by piece.
