To The Editor:

On the surface, it really doesn’t make any sense. President Trump is cutting funds for PBS (Public Broadcast System). The reason he says, “it’s biased.” Biased for what? Anyone who regularly views the PBS news hour knows this charge is nonsense. If anything, it’s the least biased news outlet and also the fact that PBS is not owned by any corporation like the other major broadcast systems. If anything, PBS has added a lot of culture to the public. There’s Sesame Street for children. There are the Ken Burns’ notable and educational documentaries displaying the greatness of America. There’s Masterpiece Theater. I could go on and on.
