To The Editor:

Iran has been waging a Holy War against America since the jihadis took over Iran and the American Embassy in November 1979 and took 66 Americans hostage, 55 of whom were held until Jan. 20, 1981 (President Reagan’s Inauguration). 1983 bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut. Hamas periodically launched rockets at American diplomatic locations. Houthi’s assaulted shipping in the Red Sea, impacting commercial interests. Iran and its surrogates have targeted American diplomatic missions, military installations, and commercial assets through a range of tactics, including bombs, missile strikes, drone attacks, kidnappings, and acts of sabotage.
