CUT EP drive out cancer donation can be used with letter

DRIVE OUT CANCER Golf Tournament at the Norway Country Club, organized by the Ladies Golf Association to benefit the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine (CRCofWM) on Aug. 14, featured over 50 women. “We are so grateful to the individuals and businesses in our community who continue to support this event each year,” said Sue Craib, event chair and member of the Ladies Gold Association. “This year we raised $20,014 for the CRCofWM which is the largest amount we have raised to date from this event. We are fortunate to have a resource like the CRCofWM here in western Maine that can assist patients on their cancer journey by providing one on one cancer resource navigation services, travel and food assistance, as well as support groups, and complementary therapy — all at no charge.” Pictured left to right, Ladies Golf Association members Jan Beckwermert, Sue Craib, and Patty Miller, Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine Executive Director Diane Madden, and LGA member Carol Roth.

To The Editor:

On behalf of the Norway Country Club Ladies Golf Association, we thank the many generous individuals and businesses in the communities of Western Maine who either made cash donations or donated items for our Silent Auction and Basket Raffle during the 12th Annual Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament. Recently, we presented a check for over $20,000 to the Cancer Resource Center of Western Maine
