Fryeburg Fair Celebrating 175 Years

FRYEBURG — Fryeburg Fair, Maine’s largest agricultural fair, will celebrate its 175th anniversary Sept. 27 to Oct. 5 with an additional day of family fun and special opening day ride prices of $1.75 per ride or unlimited rides for $17.50. 

The fair, which previously opened on Sunday and ran eight days, will open Saturday, Sept. 27 for nine days of thrilling midway rides for all ages, live music including The Outlaws and country singer Chase Matthew, over 3,000 animals, livestock shows and pulls, mechanical pulls, exhibits, demonstrations, contests, vendors, a Specialty Foods Pavilion, beer tents, favorite fair food and more.
