“Fall into Quilting” at the 44th annual Chickadee Quilters Quilt Show on Oct. 12 at Stevens Brook Elementary School.

The Chickadee Quilters are hosting their 44rd annual quilt show on Sunday, Oct. 12 and Monday, Oct. 13 at the Stevens Brook Elementary School off Route 302 in downtown Bridgton. The show hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. This year’s whimsical theme is “Fall into Quilting.” The inspiration for the theme comes from quilters’ decision to move the show from July to October.

The show displays locally made, hand and machine-sewn quilts and other forms of fiber art.  Other projects on display include Art Quilts, Balsam Pillows, and Crayon on Cloth creations, and of course “Fall into Quilting” display.
