DONATION — Lake Region Recovery Center Executive Director Tracy Martin (left) and Rotary Club President Dr. Lisa Ryan are pictured with a refrigerator from Agrens, Bridgton which has been donated to the Center located on Elm Street in Bridgton.

The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club recently donated a new refrigerator to the Lake Region Recovery Center (LRRC), ensuring the Center can safely store food and beverages for the many community members who rely on its kitchen and gathering space. Rotary extends sincere thanks to Agrens of Bridgton for offering an excellent price on exactly the model the Center needed.

LRRC provides a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment for individuals who are “recovery curious,” in recovery, or supporting a loved one. As substance use disorder continues to affect families across Maine, the Center’s mission is to expand services while treating every person with dignity and respect. Executive Director Tracy Martin noted, “Our full-service kitchen and shower facilities are used by people experiencing homelessness as well as those in recovery. The new refrigerator allows us to store more food and beverages to meet our members’ needs.”
