Edith (“Edy”) Netter will speak at the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club on Thursday, June 18, at 7:30 a.m. at the Bridgton Alliance Church Fellowship Hall, 368 Harrison Road (Route 117). Her program, “The Roads Less Travelled,” will highlight her recent journey through the Middle East.
Netter is a retired lawyer, author, and world traveler whose career has included teaching land-use law in graduate programs and law schools, writing and editing in the field, serving as a Loeb Fellow at Harvard’s Graduate School of Design, and co-producing an award-winning national documentary on women in prison.
