HARRISON — Maine author Edith Netter will appear at Harrison Village Library on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 6:30 p.m. The author will discuss her recent book, The House at Schumannstrasse 7, a Holocaust survivor’s tale told in the voice of Alice Rothschild Netter, the author’s grandmother.

A beloved home seized by the Nazis, a German concentration camp, British internment camps, the Kindertransport and a never-before-chronicled account of a fraught journey by “sealed train” from Berlin to Lisbon are key elements of this survivor’s tale.
