Howdy neighbor!

As sweet April beckons and the snowpack melts out of the woods, I find it’s starting to look and feel an awful lot like Spring of late. Of course, we can still get a storm any day, and last week I several times enjoyed waking up to between three and six inches from overnight snowfalls. Why this past Sunday, I had to curtail the full extent of my planned Maple Expedition on account of the six inches of snow that fell all through that day — not quite the nine inches we had on Maine Maple Sunday last year, but a fine showing nonetheless.
