CENTER LOVELL — Harvest Gold Gallery is hosting local artist Terry d’Avilla Carlson to paint Plein Air in the gardens this Saturday, Aug. 8, starting at 10 a.m. All are welcome for this free event. Bring your own supplies if you want to paint next to this master!
Carlson has been an artist since she was a child. Her love for art was solidified when she attended children’s art classes at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Specifically, she loved the landscapes of the French Impressionists Collection. The colorful paintings captured her heart. As a young adult, she attended Newton College of the Sacred Heart, where she was awarded a bachelor’s degree in Art, then a master’s degree in Sculpture from La Villa Schifanoia in Florence, Italy.Â
