To the editor:

I’m struggling to make sense of the math coming from our local leaders lately. On one hand, we have State Rep. Peter Morency voting in Concord to expand the voucher system (SB 295) — a move that siphons millions away from the Education Trust Fund to pay for private and home schooling. On the other hand, Mr. Morency sits on our city council, where he frequently talks about the need to lower our property taxes.
