RANDOLPH — Acquitted in the accident that killed seven motorcyclists on Route 16 in Randolph six years ago, Volodymyr Zhukovskyy was found guilty Monday on a charge of driving under the influence in a Connecticut case that occurred a month before the Randolph collision.

Associated Press reported that Zhukovskyy, 29, appeared in Hartford Superior Court in Connecticut and entered an Alford plea to operating under the influence in East Winsor, Conn., on May 11, 2019. An Alford plea means the defendant maintains innocence but admits there is sufficient evidence for a conviction. Zhukovskyy was found guilty and sentenced to 18 months of probation.
