MARTIN’S LOCATION — A crowd of some 35 or so people — family and friends of Quinn Morrissette, a Berlin native, plus U.S. Forest Service personnel and members of the Arts Alliance of Northern New Hampshire — gathered near the historic visitor center at Dolly Copp Campground on Sunday, May 26, to celebrate its completion and honor the artist.

They came to see the 40-foot-long Centennial Spiral sculpture that Morrissette had fabricated over a three-month period from August to October of last year.
