BERLIN — It may be one of the shortest city council meetings ever: A two-minute session for the councilors to approve the disbursement report of June 2 through July 1. This was not done at the June 15 meeting and Monday night’s brief gathering of councilors, City Manager Phillip L. Warren Jr. and Mayor Robert Cone accomplished what was needed. City Clerk Shelli Fortin and Finance Director Holly Larsen also attended.

A disbursement report lists the amount of money paid to vendors, departments or employees for a specific period. For the aforementioned period, $1,767,626.87 is the total disbursement.
