HUDSON — The death of a 15-day old Hudson infant is being investigated by police.

According to a joint release from the Attorney-General’s office, Hudson and N.H. State Police, authorities were notified by the Division for Children, Youth and Families about concerns regarding an infant admitted to a hospital in Massachusetts the night before. The infant, 15 days old, was taken from his parents’ home, at an apartment on Burns Hill Road in Hudson, to a local hospital in medical distress. He was later transported to the hospital in Massachusetts for treatment, where he later died on June 30.
