GORHAM — How best to allow public comment in municipal meetings can be a sensitive subject, including at selectmen's meetings. At times, the meetings, which also are livestreamed, can be fractious as the recordings show.
In a 2-1 vote at its Sept. 14 meeting, selectmen Bob Gargano and Dr. Richard Kardell chose to allow public comment on any topic, meaning the comment does not have to be an agenda item.
Keep it Clean. Please avoid obscene, vulgar, lewd,
racist or sexually-oriented language. PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK. Don't Threaten. Threats of harming another
person will not be tolerated. Be Truthful. Don't knowingly lie about anyone
or anything. Be Nice. No racism, sexism or any sort of -ism
that is degrading to another person. Be Proactive. Use the 'Report' link on
