BERLIN — Councilors agreed on voice vote to allow the city manager to enter into a $95,000 contract to move forward with a full statistical revaluation of all taxable and nontaxable properties in the city. The vote was taken at the Jan. 20 city council meeting.

A full statistical revaluation, according to the contract, “means the process of a revaluation of all taxable and nontaxable properties in a municipality, using existing property data, to arrive at full and true value as of April 1. The term also includes ‘statistical update’ and ‘statistical reassessment.’”
