BENTON — A weekend rescue of two skiers lost in deep snow and blizzard-like conditions on the summit of Mount Moosilauke tested the mettle of New Hampshire Fish and Game conservation officers and the volunteers from the Pemigewasset Valley Search and Rescue team.
The successful rescue began on Jan. 17 at approximately 4:55 p.m. when NH Fish and Game officers were notified of two skiers lost in severe winter weather conditions on the summit
